Wordless Wednesday – Sights from My Walks #Walkabout

For the next month I’ll be sharing views and sights from my daily walks for the Walkabout Challenge, this week’s picture is a recent discovery despite it being located in the middle of the town I grew up in.

This is the original jail for our county.

Spooky! You should visit it on Halloween. Maybe put a skeleton or two in it. I can't imagine having so little crime - or did they just settle their disagreements with guns. Thanks for sharing!

The original police station in a neighboring city is about that size. I just can't imagine why it is THAT small. Jail, yes. Police station -- huh?

Beautiful picture. May be you can find more about that county jail. When was it closed?

How neat is that. I love discovering little bits of history like that.

That is cool and rather haunting.
