Tuesday Tunes – Sound of Winter

Growing up one of my favorite bands was Bush, but shortly after lead singer Gavin Rossdale’s marriage to the always gorgeous Gwen Stefanie, the band all but ceased to exist.

No more garage band – grunge tunage.

Cue full-fledged teenage depression.

Well, no longer.

Bush has come raging back from the here-after with their latest excellent album, The Sea of Memories, with music that makes me sing along and remember what turned me on to them in the first place.

I’m starting this week off with their newest video from The Sea of Memories, The Sound of Winter.

Many many moons ago one of the first songs I got hooked on by Bush was Machinehead. The song gave me a much needed release from regular life and was conducive to lots of volume.

Oh how I love me some Bush. I too was so sad when they all but seemed to disappear. When I heard their new song I looked at my husband and I believe I said "OMG OMG is THIS Bush, did they come back OMG". Yeah insert dorkyness LOL
