Teacher Appreciation Dessert #Recipe – Brammell Brownies

Every year our PTSO and the parents of the school go above and beyond when preparing dishes for the Teacher’s Appreciation Week luncheons, this week has no been different.

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, I was asked to make a dessert for our teachers’ lunch and volunteer to serve.  Of course I jumped at the opportunity to show our amazing teachers a little appreciation and love!  My favorite go-to dessert is a little thing we call Brammell Brownies (the actual name is something every inappropriate for the school…and my blog, though you can find the original recipe here.)

Ingredients

  • 1 box - brownie mix (prepared as directed on box)
  • 1 pkg - Oreo Cookies
  • 1 pkg - chocolate chip cookie dough

Instructions

  1. Press chocolate chip cookie dough into 9x9 baking pan.
  2. Cover with whole Oreo cookies.
  3. Pour prepared brownie mix to cover Oreos and chocolate chip cookies completely.
  4. Bake @ 350 for 45-50 minutes.

These big mamas are rich and not at all healthy, but are oh-so-delicious.  They’re also super easy to make, at least the way I make them.  You could make it all from scratch…but they really are just as delicious the easy way.

Do you have a go-to dessert for big events like this?
