Joining the Verizon MidWest Savvy Moms Ambassador Group #VZWSM

I am thrilled to announce that I am officially a part of the Verizon ambassador family as a Verizon Wireless MidWest Savvy Mom!  I KNOW!! I am totally excited too!  As you know I’ve worked with Verizon in the past to trial and review some of their newer phones, but with the MidWest Savvy Mom program I’ll be using the totally fabulous Samsung Galaxy S III for the next six months and keep you, my readers, updated on if and how the phone makes my job as Mom and business owner easier.

Last Friday, I flew up to Chicago to meet with the other ambassadors and the Verizon team to receive our new technology and to learn more about how the program would run.  After spending the day with a bunch of new faces and learning all about the Galaxy S II, Amanda and I headed out to see the town with the wonderful Sophia as our guide.  I was determined to try out the front and back facing camera that I had read so much about on the S III.

I was not disappointed.  I take a lot of pictures in my day-to-day life.

So, of course, I was thrilled to find the Galaxy S3 takes fantastic photos with little work or effort.  Check these pictures that I took while out and about in Chicago.  All of these images are taken straight from the Samsung Galaxy S III without any filters or editing (except for resizing).

Most of the time, I am unable to lug around my heavy camera everywhere I go so taking quality photos usually falls on my smartphone.  Ya know, since it’s with me all the time.  My current phone takes rather grainy photos, so I am aften left with undesireable pictures of my every day and precious moments.
