As of today High Impact Mom is going in a slightly different direction…or maybe not…maybe as of today High Impact Mom will finally begin to live up to its potential. My focus here will be to share more of my life with you, more of my struggles as a parent and more or our success and triumphs. I’ll also be sharing my thoughts on social, environmental, and world issues – which is a switch for me here.
Anyone who knows me, can tell you I’m a passionate person. I’m passionate about education, health care, and the future of my country & children. But how would you know that? I certainly don’t share it with you, do I? I can’t claim to be “High Impact” if I don’t prove it…if we can’t talk about it. I don’t expect you to always agree with me, I know you won’t. I do expect that you’ll share your opinions in a respectful manner, as I will strive to do the same.
I’ll also be sharing more ideas on how to make a real impact in your community with ideas on how to involve your children in civil service, organizing book/clothes/food drives, and honoring those in your community who excel at giving back.
I want to share with you more about our life in Kentucky and the struggles, triumphs, and lessons of living in rural America. I’ll continue to share my journey to healthier living, as well as occasional reviews & giveaways (on a very limited basis). The monthly features of What I’m Reading and High Impact Feature will begin again as well.
Occasionally I’ll offer social media tips and will be sharing my thoughts, such as they are, on social networks, social marketing, and community management on a regular basis. It is my hope that High Impact Mom will become more of a hub of who I am, what I’m learning, and how we can change the world.
