As I am sure many of you are already away, I teach young people in our church. It varies from Mission Friends on Wednesday night to Team Kids on Sunday night and three times a year I teach Sunday School for a month. If you have ever taught a child, you know it can sometimes be hard to hold their attention for very long, especially when the subject is Bible history. Creation By Design has come up with a new and entertaining way to keep children actively learning and captivated with Bible stories.

When the Bible Trading Cards first arrived in the mail the first thing we were struck by was how gorgeous the illustrations are on the cards. They stand out and grab you attention, pulling you in and making you want to learn. They are exactly the size of baseball trading cards, but hold so much more useful information within them.
A global “Edu-tainment” collectible and marketing company, Creation By Design™ has created the Bible story as it has never been told before, as popular Trading Cards for kids of all ages and backgrounds.
Creation By DesignTM Is determined to use original fantastic art to grab the attention of children to make them once again interested in the Bible – it is after all “the greatest story ever told” and almost any script for a movie or TV show they watch is in some way based upon the concepts of the Biblical stories. We have created (and will continue to create) Trading Cards based upon the wonderful stories of the Bible.
Starting in order, we are working on the Old Testament currently, and while we have completed the first 100 cards, the Old Testament series will encompass 817 separate cards, and we expect at least that many for the New Testament. All information on our Trading cards have been written and edited by several Biblical scholars of all denominations for accuracy.

The artwork is beautiful and displays the stories in a captivating and entrancing way that makes you want to see more and learn more. The back of each card tells the relative story in easy to understand and modern language making it easier for children to understand. Each narrative has been edited by 2nd and 4th grade teachers to ensure ease of use and understanding. Along with the narrative, Fun Trivia Facts and a Time line to aid in the teaching.
I used these cards for the first time in Sunday School not too long ago with my 5th and 6th grade class and they ate it up! It made them so much more eager to learn and gave them a thirst to learn more. It’s a great way to open up class and make them hungry to hear about the upcoming lesson. You can build an entire lesson around just one of these cards!
