Earth Hour: Type A Mom Article

global-warmingThis was our family’s first year to participate  in Earth Hour.  I planned plenty of “unplugged activities” for our family to participate in Saturday and got plenty of cleaning done.  After an early morning grocery stop for me, it was back home to spend some quality time with my family.  I also wanted KG to understand what we were doing and why it was important for us to participate in Earth Hour.

Unplugged Activities

When deciding to take on such an undertaking as no electricity for the day, it became evident many great activities were going to be required.  To read more about what my family did to participate in Earth Hour head over to Rural Moms on Type A Mom and check it out!!
